It’s really hard to imagine such a cold winter here in beautiful Orlando, Florida, but we like the rest of the nation have had a very long winter. I’m ready to get out in my backyard and get ready for outdoor family portraits. The orange trees have oranges on them and make it very inviting to pluck them and eat them.
When was the last time that you had a family portrait taken? We took ours at Thanksgiving time last year and it had been 5 years since we were all together. It was so meaningful to have all of us in a portrait.
I hear stories all the time about people that planned to have a family portrait taken but then one of them becomes ill and never is able to have it done before they slip away. One of my regrets is that even I a photographer never had a portrait taken with my parents after I was an adult. I received a great testimonial from a great couple that had their family portrait taken in my backyard. I’m planning on putting it on the LETTER page but it is lengthy and I to share the entire testimonial here and shorten it for the letter page.

We had our photos taken for business headshots, however, at the last minute
decided to have additional photos with our two dogs Little Lady and Kelsey.
LaVerne was very accommodating with our dogs in his house as well as in his
beautiful backyard. LaVerne was enjoyable to work with and brought out the
best smiles in all of us. We were so happy we decided to have our dogs
included because two months later Little Lady who was 17 years old passed
away. We feel blessed to have the beautiful 8×10 of us and our dogs which
brings joy to our hearts everyday. We were amazed how quickly LaVerne was
able to snap the photos - we were done with dog photos within 5 minutes in
his gorgeous backyard. Thanks LaVerne - we tell everybody about your
wonderful photography skills!
Don’t wait to long
